When school is out (and school lunches are no longer an option), some of our children go hungry.  HPW hopes to ease the hunger pains this Christmas season by providing Food Baskets for nearby families in need.

Food Lists can be found next to the collection basket in the narthex. Key items needed are also listed below. Collections will run from October 22nd – December 11th.  Please prayerfully consider how you might make a difference in the life of a child.

Fall Spiritual Retreat
October 14-16, 2011
Cherokee Retreat Center

Cherokee PW is hosting a Fall Spritual Retreat open to all Presbyterian Women.  The event will be held at Cherokee Retreat Center and begins at 6pm on Friday evening and adjourns on Sunday morning at 11am.

Rev. Maryellen Hittel will lead the study on ”Spiritual Practices for Busy Lives.”  Rev. Hittel serves as pastor for Rockmart First Presbyterian Church.
